                                                          SALMAN KHAN

In late 2004, Khan began tutoring his cousin Nadia in mathematics. When other relatives and friends sought similar help, he decided it would be more practical to distribute the tutorials on youtube. His cousin was comfortable with his videos rather than Khan teaching it live because his cousin was able to see those videos again and learnt from it. Seeing the kind of responses from his friends and relatives, he felt that effective online videos can work better than conventional teaching. The project is funded by donations. Khan Academy is a NGO, now with significant backing from the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation & Google. Therefore, Khan Academy was created to make education easier and can be accessed anytime.

In the era of globalisation, the Khan academy has come as a boom to the education sector. Khan academy has 3200 videos in various topics and can be useful for students from different background.

Nowadays, we see lots of innovations and in the era where everything is online, the managers should be look for innovations which would help the society. Khan academy is an example of making education reaching masses and the only pre-requisite is having a internet connection to view the videos.

Learning from Khan academy :-

1.) Entrepreneurs should look for innovations which will help the society.
2.) A person should never allow his passion to die and should work for his targets like Salman Khan. Salman Khan started Khan Academy and worked towards achieving his goals. He never thought whether it will be successful or not. Today because of his innovation, students are able to learn many concepts in a easier way.
